ty si prameň pravdy,
ty si pôvod spravodlivosti.
Všetkými svojimi zmyslami si BOH,
a poznáš realitu tejto vojny.

Ty, BOŽE, počuješ
slová,
sľuby,
sklamanie,
ticho tých, ktorí boli umlčaní.
Počuješ kvílenie sirén a dronov.

Ty, BOŽE, vidíš
stratený každodenný život,
zmiznuté kultúrne poklady,
zničenú krajinu,
spustošené stvorenie.
Vidíš túžbu po mieri.

Ty, BOŽE, cítiš
dym z požiarov,
rany,
zatuchnutý vzduch v krytoch a bunkroch.
Cítiš chlad.

Ty, BOŽE, ochutnávaš
chudobné jedlá,
prchavé bozky,
zatuchnutú chuť necitlivosti a bezmocnosti,
ochutnávaš vykorisťovanie, zradu, sebectvo.

Ty, BOŽE, cítiš
zlomené srdcia,
bolesť opustených,
hanbu zneužívaných.
Cítiš zúfalstvo a beznádej.

Táto vojna trvá už štyri roky. Zmiluj sa!

Modlíme sa za obete tejto vojny:
za civilistov, za zranených, za smútiacich a traumatizovaných.
Udrž ich vo svojej uzdravujúcej prítomnosti.
Daj im útechu a ochranu.

za všetkých, ktorí bojujú na oboch stranách.
Ochraň ich pred brutálnym zaobchádzaním,
posilni ich svedomie v hrôzach vojny.

daj im múdrosť a ochotu odložiť mocenské záujmy
pre blaho všetkých.
Veď ich k serióznym mierovým rokovaniam.

za duchovenstvo a zbory na Ukrajine, v Rusku a vo všetkých regiónoch postihnutých vojnou.
Naplň ich svojou nádejou a útechou,
aby boli znameniami tvojho pokoja.

Modlíme sa za tvoj ľud:
za tých, ktorí vytrvajú,
za tých, ktorí opúšťajú svoju krajinu, a za tých, ktorí ich prijímajú.
Za tých, ktorých srdcia sú v ich vzdialenej vlasti.
Za tých, ktorí sú ľahostajní.

Prebuď ľudstvo, ktoré je silnejšie ako nenávisť.

the silence of those who have been silenced.
You hear the wailing of sirens and drones.

the lost everyday life,
the vanished cultural treasures,
the destroyed landscapes,
the ravaged creation.
You see the longing for peace.

You, GOD, smell
the smoke of fires,
the wounds,
the stale air in shelters and bunkers.
You smell the cold.

You, GOD, taste
the meagre meals,
the fleeting kisses,
the stale taste of numbness and helplessness,
you taste the exploitation, the betrayal, the self-interest.

You, GOD, feel
the broken hearts,
the pain of the left behind,
the shame of the abused.
You feel the despair and hopelessness.

for the civilians, for the wounded, for the mourners and the traumatised.
Keep them in your healing presence.
Give them comfort and protection.
